Feeling like life’s become a circus lately?

Let’s take a look at some fascinating data from the American Psychological Association.

When it comes to day-to-day stress, health-related issues (65%), financial concerns (63%), and economic worries (64%) are among the primary sources of stress. Interestingly, those aged 35 to 44 report experiencing significantly more stress today compared to 2019, particularly regarding finances, the economy, family responsibilities, personal safety, and discrimination. On the other hand, those aged 65 and older are the only group reporting fewer stressors today than in 2019.

I share this not to add to your stress, but to remind you that you’re not alone in navigating life’s challenges. Perhaps considering the circus life might seem appealing as a way to lighten the load of life’s stresses and toxic relationships.

While it’s commendable that psychologists address cognitive aspects of stress, true growth involves holistic awareness—acknowledging the unseen energetic aspects of our emotions and connecting with a higher power, whether you call it God, the Universe, or Light. It’s our responsibility as sentient beings to nurture all aspects of ourselves—mind, body, spirit, and soul.

Just as a balanced diet includes a variety of vegetables, life requires balance and awareness across all dimensions.
